Volunteer Waiver & Consent Agreement

By participating as a volunteer at Authors Avenue, I acknowledge and agree that:

1. Voluntary Participation: My participation is voluntary and unpaid. I agree to follow event guidelines and fulfill my assigned responsibilities.

2. Health & Safety: I understand that volunteering may involve physical activities and certain risks. I agree to follow safety instructions and report any hazards or injuries.

3. Assumption of Risk: I voluntarily accept the ordinary risks associated with my volunteer activities. To the extent permitted by law, I release Kidsocado International Publishing Inc. and its event partners from liability arising solely from these inherent risks.

4. Professional Conduct: I agree to treat all participants respectfully and maintain the confidentiality of private event information.

5. Emergency Assistance: In case of an emergency, I authorize the organizers to contact emergency services and my designated emergency contact.

6. Personal Information: I consent to the collection and use of my information for volunteer coordination and event-related purposes.


Photography & Media Consent

I understand that photographs and videos may be taken during the event.

As an Authors Avenue Volunteer, you will receive: ​

  • Official Volunteer Certificate 
      You will receive an official certificate recognizing your volunteer contribution and participation in Authors Avenue. 

  • Letter of Appreciation
    Upon completion of your volunteer commitment, you will receive an official Letter of Appreciation acknowledging your contribution to the event.

  • Professional & Cultural Experience
    Gain hands-on experience working alongside our event and publishing team in a professional, creative, and multicultural environment.

  • Meet Authors & Creative Professionals
    Have the opportunity to meet and interact with authors, publishers, artists, performers, entrepreneurs, and other members of the cultural community.

  • Behind-the-Scenes Event Experience
    Experience firsthand how a multi-author cultural event is organized and brought to life, from guest services and author support to book activities and event operations.
