From distant ages, she was nothing more than a name and an image. Wherever you went, in every house, shop, or hall, her image, or rather I should say a painting of her face and figure with sheaves of wheat on her shoulders, was installed on the wall. If you asked anyone who she was, they would say - "Samanchi Qizideh (the daughter of the wheat seller). She was familiar to everyone, a part of the family, culture, language, and thoughts of the people, and ultimately, a symbol of the beauty and purity of all. So much so that when the people of Azerbaijan wanted to describe the beauty and purity of a girl or a lady, they would say, "Yes, she's beautiful, she's the daughter of the wheat seller (Gazelle, Samanchi Qizideh)." But when you asked who she was? Where and how she lived? And where she is now? Everyone had only one answer - she was the daughter of the wheat seller, she has been killed. All the knowledge people had about her was just this, and nothing else. No matter how much I searched and investigated, I found nothing, and no one knew who she was and what happened to her. She was just an image and a name, and a brief account that she had been killed. So, I decided to write her life story, or rather I should say her novel, and I wrote it, meaning I spent years writing it, and now that I have finished writing it, I dedicate it to the people of my homeland, Azerbaijan. With the emphasis that all the subjects and chapters of the novel are creations of the mind, and if in the text of the novel there is a reference to a historical period or an event with its influential characters in the course of events, they have been used as the basis of the novel's logic, not for any other reason, because a novel is the product of imagination based on the truth of life to create a new and different life.
