About the Author
Katayoun Shirzad was born in Shirgah, a town in the Savadkuh region of Mazandaran, Iran. She has spent nearly fifty years of her life outside Iran and currently lives in Vancouver, Canada, with her husband and three children. After completing her studies in the fields of science and therapy, she worked for twenty years in educational and developmental sectors in collaboration with the Canadian government. She also spent ten years closely working with government experts on various programs at British Columbia’s provincial television.
In addition to her social activities, Katayoun Shirzad has conducted numerous lectures and educational and therapeutic workshops. She has published seven books and over three hundred articles on therapy and psychoanalysis in Vancouver’s weekly publications. In recent years, she has also held several sculpture exhibitions.
About the Author
Mehron Sherkat is an Iranian-Canadian youth who was born in Canada in 2011 and has lived in Vancouver his entire life. Energetic, creative, and curious, Mehron enjoys exploring new ideas and challenging himself through a variety of activities.
He has a strong passion for sports, particularly Taekwondo and swimming, and also enjoys playing the piano. In his free time, he loves gaming, spending time with family and friends, and discovering new interests.
Zero Plan is Mehron’s first published book. A creative work of fantasy fiction, it reflects his imagination and love of storytelling. He hopes young readers his age will enjoy the adventure, excitement, and unique world he has created.
