This collection has been prepared with the aim of fostering connections among Iranians and Persian speakers worldwide through the poetry of Rudaki. In this work, a beautiful and accurate compilation of Rudaki's remaining poems has been provided and is presented to you, esteemed reader. Numerous editions of Rudaki's Divan have been published by researchers and scholars of Persian language and literature, each holding its own importance and value. However, since our intent with this work was to offer a less error-prone and readable edition for the general public, we refrained from detailed scholarly annotations for another occasion. Therefore, we have prepared this book based on appropriate editing and using the edition by Master Saeed Nafisi of Rudaki's Divan, with slight modifications.
Given the long time gap between us and Rudaki, and the lack of precise and accurate handwritten manuscripts of his works, some poems are incomplete or contain obscure words whose correct form has not yet been determined. Additionally, due to the antiquity of his work, many words used in his poems are no longer in common use today. Therefore, please be mindful of these points when reading Rudaki's poetry. It is hoped that this effort can contribute to showcasing the grand culture of Iran.
