Regarding the "value of women," the "celebration of festivals," and the "wars of the Shahnameh," many books have been written, focusing on stories such as Rostam and Sohrab, Siavash, and Zal and Rudabeh. However, based on my research, there are few books specifically dedicated to the moral lessons of the Shahnameh, with only a few articles addressing this topic. This book is a selection of the explicit advice of the great Ferdowsi and the hidden counsel within the verses of the Shahnameh.

It is worth noting that selecting verses filled with advice from a book that is entirely advisory in nature is no simple task. This book is an attempt in this direction, a small and humble step. It contains seven hundred explicit pieces of advice from the great Ferdowsi and hidden counsel within the verses of the Shahnameh. Each piece of advice consists of three parts: first, the selected advisory verses, followed by their simple and fluent meanings and explanations, and a discussion about them.

Throughout the writing of this book, each word of advice and the sweet sayings of the great Ferdowsi resonated deeply within me. How could it be that over a thousand years ago, a man thought so profoundly and understood existence in such a way that he valued nothing more than prosperity, justice, and truthfulness? He clearly perceived and transparently articulated the path to human happiness and success.

A person who holds the world in high regard does not succumb to weakness or despair.

Let me give you a proper piece of advice: you must cleanse your heart of worldly affection.

It is fitting that the final verse reflects the wisdom of the sage in his Shahnameh:

Whoever possesses wisdom, reason, and faith, will praise me after death.

A thousand greetings and countless praises to the soul and spirit of a man like you, great Ferdowsi! Your youth and grand ideas are embedded in a book that, after a thousand years, the world still craves and thirsts for.

I will not die henceforth, for I am alive because I have scattered the seeds of words.
