A Guide to Persian Proverbs with Their Meanings, Contexts, and English Equivalents; is a unique and heartfelt collection of traditional Persian sayings, thoughtfully translated and paired with their English equivalents. It is the collaborative work of Faria Zandinia, a Canadian-Iranian student who has lived in Canada since the age of three, and Parinaz Zhandy, a Persian language instructor based in Vancouver.

Inspired by a deep appreciation for Persian culture and language, this project was shaped with the guidance of mentors in both linguistics and design. The book captures the charm, depth, and cultural richness of Persian proverbs in a way that is both accessible and engaging.

Each proverb is presented with its exact English translation, a brief explanation of its usage, and a well-matched English equivalent. Some of the proverbs are also accompanied by vivid illustrations that bring the expressions to life, making the collection as visually delightful as it is educational.

Whether you're learning Persian, passionate about cross-cultural communication, or simply enjoy the timeless wisdom found in traditional sayings, this book offers insight, inspiration, and a touch of humor.
