Another published work in this area is a 33-volume series, which briefly outlines its content and goals as follows:
The 30-Volume Iranology Series
For a long time, the nature, culture, civilization, art, and life of the people of Iran have been recognized by the world as a vivid spectrum reflecting a specific identity known as Iranian identity. This national identity, rooted in knowledge, insight, culture, and art, intertwined with nature, climate, history, and civilization, has evolved over more than 5000 years, enriching this identity and creating various roles.
Unfortunately, a profound sorrow continually afflicts the thoughtful and aware Iranian when he sees that young generations—including educated individuals, students, and planners—lack sufficient awareness of the geography, history, civilization, art, nature, and potentials of Iran, as if they live thousands of kilometers away from their homeland and receive no news about it. Sometimes, people around the world are so uninformed about Iran's nature that they perceive the entire country as dry and desert-like. It is interesting to note that even the lushness and beauty of northern Iran often remain unknown, let alone the beautiful and scenic areas scattered throughout the rest of the land, such as the forests of Arasbaran and Zagros, the countless deep valleys in the Zagros, Alborz, Bahraman, Hezar, Shahou mountains, and others; or the gardens of Minab and Rudan, the palm groves of Dalki and Borazjan, along with villages like Faryab and Tang-e Zard, as well as the unique beauty of Koharang, and the waterfalls of Bisheh and Maroun. The caves of Ali Sadr, Quri Qaleh, Nakhjir, Kataleh Khor, and the grandeur of deserts are just some of the numerous natural beauties that can be highlighted.
Objectives of This Series
The objectives set forth in the compilation of this series include:
- Familiarizing compatriots with the general nature, geography, status, culture, cities, and provinces of the country, as well as their history and civilization, while also addressing the gaps in comprehensive information in this regard through up-to-date and illustrated content that can meet some of the audience's needs.
