1. Copyright Protection
All books, publications, manuscripts, illustrations, cover designs, interior layouts, photographs, artwork, audiobooks, ebooks, promotional materials, descriptions, and other original content published, produced, distributed, or displayed by Kidsocado International Publishing Inc. may be protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
Copyright protection generally arises automatically when an original work is created and fixed in a tangible form. Registration is not always required for copyright protection, although registration may provide additional evidence of ownership.

Unless otherwise stated, copyright in an individual work may belong to its author, illustrator, creator, Kidsocado International Publishing Inc., or another rights holder, according to the applicable publishing agreement, assignment, licence, or other written authorization.
Kidsocado International Publishing Inc. may act as publisher, exclusive licensee, distributor, rights administrator, or authorized representative of the relevant copyright holder, depending on the specific work.

Except where expressly permitted by law or authorized in writing, no part of any Kidsocado publication or related material may be:
- reproduced;
- copied or scanned;
- uploaded or downloaded;
- distributed or resold;
- stored on a public website or file-sharing platform;
- converted into PDF, EPUB, MOBI, audiobook, or another format;
- translated, adapted, modified, or republished;
- communicated or made available to the public;
- used to create unauthorized derivative works;
- included in a commercial database or digital collection;
- used for commercial artificial-intelligence training or dataset development;
- shared through social media, messaging applications, cloud storage, torrents, archives, or download websites.
This prohibition applies to complete works and to substantial portions of works.
Canadian copyright law generally gives copyright holders the exclusive right to reproduce, publish, perform, communicate, and authorize certain uses of protected works. Unauthorized copying, distribution, sale, or online publication may constitute copyright infringement.
3. Permitted Limited Use
Limited quotations or uses may be permitted where authorized by applicable law, including certain fair dealing, fair use, educational, research, review, criticism, or news-reporting exceptions.
Any permitted use must:
- remain within the limits allowed by applicable law;
- include proper acknowledgment of the author and source where required;
- not substitute for purchasing or licensing the original work;
- not reproduce an excessive or substantial portion of the work;
- not falsely imply endorsement by Kidsocado International Publishing Inc. or the rights holder.

4. Book Covers, Illustrations, and Interior Designs
Book covers, illustrations, photographs, page designs, typographic layouts, logos, promotional graphics, and other artistic materials may be separately protected by copyright or other intellectual property rights.
The presence of an image, cover, or sample page on a retail website, social-media platform, search engine, catalogue, or promotional page does not grant permission to reproduce or reuse it.
Written authorization is required before using such materials for:
- commercial advertising;
- merchandise;
- redesigned editions;
- websites or applications;
- videos or audiovisual productions;
- social-media promotions unrelated to the authorized sale of the book;
- AI-generated adaptations or image-training datasets.
5. Metadata, ISBNs, and Product Information
Book titles, author names, ISBNs, publication dates, page counts, and factual bibliographic information may not by themselves receive the same copyright protection as the underlying creative work.
However, no person or organization may use Kidsocado’s bibliographic information, covers, descriptions, trademarks, or branding in a manner that:
- falsely suggests authorization or affiliation;
- advertises an unauthorized copy;
- misleads customers;
- facilitates copyright infringement;
- impersonates Kidsocado International Publishing Inc.;
- redirects users to fraudulent, malicious, or unauthorized download services.
6. Unauthorized Digital Copies
Kidsocado International Publishing Inc. does not authorize third-party websites to offer free or unauthorized copies of its publications in PDF, EPUB, MOBI, audiobook, scanned, OCR, or other digital formats unless that website is expressly identified as an authorized distributor.
Websites claiming to offer a Kidsocado publication for free download, online reading, conversion, or streaming may be operating without permission.
Users should not download files, software, extensions, applications, or browser tools from suspicious websites claiming to provide Kidsocado books.
7. Copyright Enforcement
Kidsocado International Publishing Inc. actively investigates suspected copyright infringement involving works that it publishes, licenses, distributes, administers, or is authorized to protect.
Where appropriate, Kidsocado may submit infringement notices and removal requests to:
- website operators;
- hosting providers;
- content delivery networks;
- domain registrars;
- search engines;
- online marketplaces;
- social-media platforms;
- file-sharing services;
- payment processors;
- advertising networks;
- relevant governmental or legal authorities.
Kidsocado may also request the removal or disabling of:
- infringing webpages;
- unauthorized files;
- cached copies;
- mirrors;
- redirects;
- duplicate listings;
- subdomains;
- search-engine results;
- advertisements promoting unauthorized access.
For services operating under United States law, removal notices may be submitted under Section 512 of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. A compliant DMCA notice generally identifies the copyrighted work and infringing material, provides contact information, and includes statements of good faith, accuracy, and authority.
8. Reporting Copyright Infringement
To report suspected infringement involving a Kidsocado publication, please provide:
- your full name and contact information;
- the title and author of the book;
- the ISBN, if available;
- the exact URL of the allegedly infringing material;
- screenshots or other supporting evidence;
- a brief description of the suspected infringement;
- the date on which the material was observed.

9. Requests for Permission
Requests to reproduce, translate, adapt, quote extensively from, distribute, perform, record, or otherwise use a Kidsocado publication must be submitted in writing.
A permission request should include:
- the title and author of the work;
- ISBN;
- material requested;
- intended use;
- format;
- language;
- territory;
- print quantity or estimated audience;
- commercial or non-commercial purpose;
- proposed publication or release date.
Permission is not granted unless confirmed in writing by Kidsocado International Publishing Inc. or the applicable rights holder.

10. Trademarks and Branding
The Kidsocado name, company name, logos, visual identity, and related branding may be protected by trademark, passing-off, unfair-competition, or other applicable laws.
No person or organization may use Kidsocado branding in a manner that suggests sponsorship, partnership, authorization, affiliation, or endorsement without prior written permission.
11. Author and Creator Rights
Kidsocado respects the rights of authors, illustrators, translators, designers, photographers, narrators, and other creators.
Ownership and administration of rights may vary between publications and are governed by the relevant contract or written agreement.
Nothing on this page transfers ownership of any copyright, moral right, trademark, or other intellectual property right.
Under Canadian law, authors may retain moral rights relating to attribution, anonymity, association, and the integrity of their work, unless those rights have been formally waived as permitted by law.
12. False or Misleading Claims
Anyone submitting a copyright complaint must ensure that the information supplied is accurate and that they are authorized to act for the relevant rights holder.
Kidsocado reserves the right not to pursue complaints that are incomplete, unsupported, fraudulent, or outside the scope of its authority.
13. No Waiver of Rights
Failure by Kidsocado International Publishing Inc. or a rights holder to act immediately against a particular infringement does not constitute:
- consent;
- authorization;
- abandonment of rights;
- waiver of any legal remedy.
All applicable rights and remedies are expressly reserved.
